THIS WEEK’S NEWS
A backdrop to the massacre in Paris on Wednesday by
self-professed al Qaeda terrorists is that city officials have increasingly
ceded control of heavily Muslim neighborhoods to Islamists, block by block. France
has Europe’s largest population of Muslims, some of whom talk openly of ruling
the country one day and casting aside Western legal systems for harsh,
Islam-based Shariah law.
The latest example of the New York Times censoring itself
to avoid offending Muslims after an act of Islamic terror.
The federal government drove $789,473,350,613.20 deeper into
debt in calendar year 2014, an increase that equaled $7,458 per full-time
worker (including full-time government workers) and $6,875 per household.
When Obama took office on Jan. 20, 2009, the debt was
$10,626,877,048,913.08. Since then, it has increased
$7,514,567,086,650.22--which is $65,443 per household, $70,985 per full-time
worker and $84,266 per full-time private-sector worker.

House Speaker Boehner beat back an embarrassing challenge to
his speakership from aggrieved conservatives on Tuesday.
??? Speaker Boehner: 'I'm Most Anti-Establishment
Speaker We've Ever Had'...
Rep. Mia Love, R-Utah, shocked some conservatives Tuesday
when the first vote she cast as a new congresswoman was to keep Rep. John
Boehner, R-Ohio, as House speaker. “Casting a vote for a candidate who has not
actively campaigned and does not have the support to be speaker is an indirect
vote for Nancy Pelosi, and I will not vote for Nancy Pelosi.” Love also reminded voters that she is playing
the long game when it comes to fighting for conservative principles.
Rep.-elect Love vowed to walk the talk she promised voters
of Utah and that as part of that pledge, she would stand strong on pushing for
Obamacare’s repeal and replacement. Specifically, she vowed to “do everything
humanly possible to stop Obamacare,” she said during an interview on ABC News.
The House passed a bill Thursday that defines full-time work
under Obamacare as a traditional 40 hours, with a dozen Democrats choosing to
rebuff President Obama’s veto threat before the measure heads for a tougher
test in the Senate. The 252-172 vote marked the GOP-dominated Congress’ first
stab at dismantling Obamacare.

Young America’s Foundation has released its Youth Misery
Index (YMI) numbers for 2014, and it’s a record high of 106.5. The Youth Misery
Index (YMI) is calculated by adding youth unemployment, student loan debt, and
national debt (per capita) numbers. Young people are experiencing hardships
like never before under the Obama administration, and this generation is
especially suffering the consequences of this administration’s leftist
policies.

President Obama went to Detroit to brag about how he saved
the U.S. auto industry. “What he´s really doing is exposing the folly of his
industrial policy. Just days before Obama´s planned swing through Detroit, the
Treasury Dept. reported that the final taxpayer cost of the auto industry
bailout was $9.26 billion. That equals $441 for every single car and light
truck that GM and Chrysler have sold since 2009. “

“the average U.S. college freshman reads at a seventh grade level,
according to an educational assessment report.” The study also found that most
high school graduates don’t do much with mathematics past eighth-grade compared
to students in other high-achieving countries.
Reverend Al Sharpton is being paid thousands of dollars to
not cry ´racism´ at large corporations that are in the spotlight, it has been
claimed. For more than 10 years, firms have reportedly handed over enormous
donations and consulting fees to the activist preacher´s National Action
Network (NAN) In return for their cash, they have received Sharpton´s supposed
influence in the black community - or more often, his silence on the matter.

THIS WEEK’S FEATURED COLUMN
Walter Williams 1/7
Last week's column focused on the ways liberals use blacks
in pursuit of their leftist agenda, plus their demeaning attitudes toward black
people. Most demeaning are their double standards.
It was recently reported that Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., the
House majority whip, spoke at a 2002 gathering hosted by white supremacist
leaders when he was a Louisiana state representative. Some are calling on
Scalise to step down or for House Speaker John Boehner to fire him. There's no
claim that Scalise made racist statements.
Hardly anyone blinks an eye at the Rev. Al Sharpton's racist
statements, such as: "White folks was in the caves while we (blacks) was
building empires. ... We built pyramids before Donald Trump ever knew what
architecture was. ... We taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before
Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it."
Sharpton again: "So (if) some cracker come and tell
you, 'Well, my mother and father blood go back to the Mayflower,' you better
hold your pocket. That ain't nothing to be proud of. That means their
forefathers was crooks." Sharpton also offered, "If the Jews want to
get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my
house."
Despite such racism, President Barack Obama has made
Sharpton his go-to guy on matters of race. But not to worry. Obama himself
spent 20 years listening to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's anti-Semitic and racist
sermons. The news media and intellectual elite don't condemn Sharpton or Obama,
because they have two standards of behavior: one for whites and a lower one for
blacks.
The news media's narrative about the police shooting in
Ferguson, Missouri, is that a white cop shot and killed an unarmed black man
who was holding his hands up. Their New York City narrative is that a white cop
used a chokehold that killed a black man. The news media people and their
liberal allies know the facts, but they need to promote the appearance of
injustice to keep black people in a state of grievance.
During grand jury testimony about the Ferguson incident,
seven black witnesses testified that Michael Brown was charging the policeman
when he was shot.
The autopsies, performed by three sets of forensic experts,
including one representing Brown's family, confirmed Officer Darren Wilson's
version of the event. The news media's narrative of Eric Garner's death in New
York is that he died because a chokehold had stopped his breathing. He actually
died later, in an ambulance, where his heart stopped while being taken to a
hospital. The chokehold was instrumental in triggering Garner's pre-existing
health problems of acute and chronic bronchial asthma, obesity and heart disease,
but he was not choked to death as claimed by the media.
Both Brown and Garner would be alive today if they had not
resisted arrest. But pointing that out would not serve the purpose of keeping
blacks in a perpetual state of grievance.
I'm old enough to remember the racist lynching mentality of
yesteryear. Regardless of the evidence, if a white woman merely accused a black
man of raping her, the man was all but dead. Emmett Till, a Chicago teenager
visiting relatives in Money, Mississippi, during the summer of 1955, was
accused of flirting with a white woman. Klansmen took him to a barn. They beat
him and gouged out one of his eyes. Then they shot him in the head and tossed
his body in the Tallahatchie River.
The New York Times published the street name on which
Officer Darren Wilson lived. Had the frenzied mob caught up with him,
regardless of evidence, he might have suffered the same fate as Till.
Multiethnic societies are inherently unstable, and how we
handle matters of race is contributing to that instability. Decent Americans
should see the dangers posed by America's race hustlers, who are stacking up
piles of combustible racial kindling, ready for a racial arsonist to set it
ablaze.

LEFTIST WATCH
City Hall insiders call them the “Five Families” — the
politically plugged-in unions whose leaders often act as capos to enforce Mayor
de Blasio’s progressive agenda. Several sources rattled off the names of the
unions that flex their muscles whenever a wayward politician needs to be
brought in line. They include giant healthcare workers union SEIU/1199; the
union representing doormen and other buildings staff; the hotel workers union;
the teachers union; and the Communication Workers of America District 1, which
covers a mix of public- and private-sector jobs.

The masked, black-clad gunmen attacked with militaristic
precision and left the scene with shouts of "Allahu Akbar," but a
White House spokesman was reluctant to call the murderous rampage “Terrorism”.

ARTICLES
Even today D.C. politicos don’t get this about the
Republican base: When you are the toast of the liberal media, you are toast in
Des Moines……..And yet our political chattering class truly seems to believe
that across the plains of Iowa and deep in the hills of New Hampshire are
millions of Republican caucus goers and primary voters shaking their heads and
whispering, “Please bring us more candidates from the middle of the road.” That
is simply not how the most committed GOPers think.……Even those making the
slightest observation of the GOP should see that the base is far more excited
by people they think of as true believers—Ted Cruz and Rand Paul, for
example—than they are for, say, Chuck Grassley. This explains why in 2014
almost every GOPer—from Mitch McConnell on down—ran as conservatives, not
moderates. Indeed, they posed so far to the right that they made Margaret
Thatcher look like a hippie….. But every so often a candidate decides he’s
going to show us something different. John McCain nearly derailed his 2008
nomination by challenging his party’s base on immigration. And that was just
one hot-button issue to fight with his own voters over; Jeb Bush has picked not
one, but three (immigration, education reform and taxes.) We will soon see what
havoc that wreaks for him. Rest assured: The “tea party” label may be badly
damaged, but the frustration and disillusionment with Washington that started
the movement is as strong as ever…..Republicans are an orderly crew. They’ll
kick the candidates’ tires for a couple of primaries or two, but pretty soon
settle on the man, or woman, they want as their standard-bearer. At this point,
that could be anybody. Which is what is going to make 2016 so fun.
This is almost as delicious as unions — who did everything
in their power to get it enacted — calling for ObamaCare´s repeal once they
realized the harm it would do to their members. It seems that ivory tower
professors at Harvard, where health experts helped craft the law, are now
grumbling about the impact ObamaCare is having on their pocketbooks.
“France Joins the Supply Side:
Paul Krugman Hardest Hit”
For several weeks now, the mainstream Jurassic media has
been up to their old psychological warfare tricks, and naturally, the
Republican establishment is falling for it hard. They always do, and this
includes “the architect,” Karl Rove. This time it’s the media’s attempt to get
Jeb Bush the Republican nomination for President in 2016. Articles that fawn
over Jeb, either from a formidability standpoint or in the vein that he’s a
“reasonable” conservative are everywhere.
Once described as her husband's secret weapon, Kelley Paul
won't be a secret much longer. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul's wife of 24 years is
stepping onto the national stage as part of a book tour launching at roughly
the same time her husband is expected to enter the 2016 presidential race.
It is interesting to watch the Democrats work to fashion
“income inequality” into an issue they think they can use. Some Democrats
bemoan income inequality as the paramount issue of our time, as if they have
been chained, mute, helpless witnesses to policy development for the past six
years. It takes a lot of gall for them to pretend that they had nothing to do
with what they see as this great evil that has somehow been allowed to infect
society. The Democrats are completely uninhibited by the truth. Under even mild
scrutiny, their claims that they are foes of income

(2.) John 14:6 (3.) Shema Yisrael (4.)
Allahu akbar ……….Someone who plants a shrapnel-packed bomb near the finish line

WISE WORDS
"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the
judgment that something else is more important than fear."
-James Neil Hollingworth
"To take from one, because it is thought his own
industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to
others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is
to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to
everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it."
-Thomas Jefferson
