Mitt Romney continues to hold a seven-point lead in voter
trust over President Obama when it comes to the economy, by far the number one
voting issue. The candidates remain more closely divided in several other key
issue areas, but voters are shifting toward Romney when it comes to national
security.
Republican poll analysis: Romney winning by 14 % with
middle-class families

"dead" by the mainstream press and their elitist allies in Washington
and Hollywood. Not surprisingly, when Tea Partiers show up and rally by the
thousands, they get all but ignored, while 30 Occupy Wall Street crazies in masks
will always get wall-to-wall coverage and admiration……a new Associated Press
poll shows tea party supporters may have the last laugh in November.
By kicking off his Ohio
bus tour with an unusually blunt attack on Obama’s big-government philosophy,
Mitt Romney appears to have adopted a new strategy. Romney described Obama’s vision
of government as “entirely foreign to anything this nation has ever known.” He
decried, “a larger government, taking more and more, intruding in your
relationship with your doctor, investing, so to speak, in companies, picking
winners and losers, or in his case, losers.” Then came the biggest applause
line: “that is not the America
I know. That is not the America
that built Ohio.”

Jay Leno took some surprising shots at President Obama
Thursday night. "A new survey out today shows how much time we waste every
day in our lives. For example, we waste seven minutes in line every time we go
to get coffee, 28 minutes getting through airport security, four years waiting
for Obama to do something about the economy. Every year, we waste a lot. We
wasted a lot of time."
The video of an Obama supporter bragging about having an
“Obama phone” has gone viral on the web, but where do these “free cell phones”
come from? The program was originally created to subsidize landline phone
service for low income Americans. In
2008, the program was expanded to support cell phones which quickly escalated
the cost of the program. In 2008 the program cost $772 million, but by 2011 it
cost $1.6 billion. Several websites have been created to promote “free”
government cell phones, including ”The Obama Cell Phone” website at
Obamaphone.net.
The Obama campaign has created a series of electronic
greeting card aimed at women voters.
This is the most bizarre one: "Dear Mom," the card reads. "Mitt Romney says he would
repeal the Affordable Care Act. So here's a quick question: Can I borrow
$18,000 to help pay for my birth control? Thanks!" It would seem the point
of the eCard is to get daughters to encourage their mothers to vote for
Obama. (Would any daughter really send this card to her mother?) (Editor’s note: The numbers don’t make sense: birth control
pills cost $9/month).
President Obama followed his gaffe-ridden Univision
interview with one on “60 Minutes” that is destined to wind up in a series of
Mitt Romney ads. He said the recent attacks that left four Americans dead
including the Libyan Ambassador are just a “bump in the road.”
In Florida,
Vice President Biden tells seniors that thanks to President Obama, they can now
get colonoscopies free without a co-pay.
President Obama declined to meet any world leaders at the
United Nations General Assembly this week, but found time to guest star on
"The View."
The wheels appear to be coming off a two week attempt by the
Obama Administration to cover up its fatal security failures at our consulate
in Libya
and to cover up the very fact that this was a successful pre-planned terrorist
attack that cost four American lives, including that of our Libyan Ambassador.
Not only has the scandal picked up steam in the mainstream press, but
high-ranking members of the President's own party are now demanding answers.”……

Massive quantities of algae are now blooming in the Lincoln
Memorial Reflecting Pool, where the federal government has just spent $34
million in stimulus money to make the pool "sustainable" and

FBI agents aren’t allowed to treat individuals associated
with terrorist groups as potential threats to the nation, according to a startling,
newly discovered FBI directive. The fact that a terrorism suspect is associated
with a terrorist group means nothing, according to the FBI document, “Guiding
Principles: Touchstone Document on Training.”
Election Day is more
than six weeks away, but by Nov. 6 tens of millions of Americans — perhaps as
many as 40 percent of all voters — will have cast their ballots in the
presidential race and other contests. The
traditional get-out-the vote push, once focused on the final hours of a
contest, has become an elaborate 45-day operation.
To the dismay of business leaders who fear an exodus of top
talent, the French government confirmed a “temporary” 75 percent super-tax rate
for high earners.
France
is set to ban the words "mother" and "father" from all
official documents under controversial plans to legalize gay marriage. The
move, which has outraged Catholics, means only the word "parents"
would be used in identical marriage ceremonies for all heterosexual and
same-sex couples.

Why aren't you mad
as hell yet, America?
What will it take?
At home,
unemployment is stuck above 8 percent. Twenty-three million are out of work.
Millions of others have given up looking for jobs.
One American in six
is on food stamps. Small businesses are terrified of Obamacare. The economy ran out of gas four years ago and
the president still thinks the only way to get it going again is to fill up the
tank with trillions of dollars of debt and make successful people pay for the
tow truck. Overseas, we have a dead ambassador and three other dead Americans
in Libya.
Dozens of our embassies are being threatened by mobs. Iran is building a nuke. Syria is mired
in a bloody civil war. Egypt's
new democracy is turning against us. And our Middle East
policy -- if that's what it can be called -- is based on apologies and
weakness.
Meanwhile, what does
President "Eye Candy" do this week? He goes before the United Nations
and can't bring himself to even mention the words "Islamic
extremists." He's still blaming the attack on our Libyan embassy on a
stupid film. As the Middle East burns, Obama says he didn't have time to meet
with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu or other world leaders in New York City. Yet he had
plenty of time to do the Letterman show and drop in to see Whoopi and the gals
at "The View."
How much worse does
it have to get before a majority of the American people wake up, throw open
their windows and scream, "We're mad as hell and we're not going to take
this crap anymore?"
In the movie
"Network," news anchor Howard Beale said people first had to get mad
before things would change. So let's get
mad, America,
and change presidents. There are fewer than 1,000 hours between now and the
election that can save us from four more years of Obamamisery.
Mitt Romney is the
change we need -- and the only chance we have. But in their perverse way of
thinking, the Obama Gang wants the American people to believe Romney is a bad
guy for creating wealth and being a successful businessman. Americans are supposed to be angry with Romney
for paying "only" 14 percent in taxes or reducing his federal tax
bite by giving $4 million to charity in 2011.
But there's no
reason for the American people to be mad at Mitt. He's a good guy, a great
American, and he's eminently qualified to repair the damage Obama has done to
the country. But if Mitt's going to win, he's got to have a Ronald Reagan
moment.
My father turned his
fortunes around in the 1980 New Hampshire
primary after the moderator of a scheduled debate in Nashua ordered his microphone to be turned
off. My father's angry response -- "I'm paying for this microphone, Mr.
Green" -- became a symbolic act that established his image, showed his
strong character and led to a landslide win that knocked George H.W. Bush out
of the presidential race.
Mitt Romney needs to
have his own "Nashua Moment" -- and have it soon. A perfect time for
it to happen would be next week (Wednesday, Oct. 3) in front of 50 or 60
million people during the first presidential debate. Mitt needs to show us how angry he is at what
Obama has done to America.
He needs to show us he's as "mad as hell" and can't take it for
another four years.
Come on, Mitt -- get
as mad as the rest of us.

LEFTIST WATCH
A recording of the October 19, 1998 Loyola College forum on
community organizing and policymaking has future President Obama saying he
favors the government redistribution of wealth. Obama also said he viewed
welfare recipients and “the working poor” as “a majority coalition” that could
be mobilized to help advance progressive policies and elect their champions.
Jewish education is all about profanity, bestiality, and
dishonesty--if George Soros, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sarah Silverman are to be
believed. The so-called "Jewish Council for Education and Research,"
in reality a super PAC backed by Soros's son Alexander, has produced a new
anti-Romney ad in which Jackson exhorts a family to "Wake the F---
Up!" and work for President Barack Obama's re-election. Earlier this year,
the Jewish Council released an ad in which Silverman simulates sex with a dog
to mock Jewish GOP donor Sheldon Adelson.
A Pennsylvania
high school has put together a rather startling halftime show for the school’s
football games. The New Oxford High School
marching band has performed “St. Petersburg
1917,” commemorating the Bolshevik Revolution that brought the communists to
power and led to the formation of the Soviet Union.
The band, which performed the piece at the Friday night football game on
September 14th, wore olive-colored military-style uniforms, and carried red
flags–along with giant hammers and sickles. “There is no reason for Americans
to celebrate the Russian revolution,” said an irate parent who alerted Fox News
to the debacle.
Singer Madonna offered a profanity-laced endorsement of
President Obama at her concert Monday night, which involved the singer
stripping down to her underwear to reveal the president's name written on her
body. “You all better vote for f---ing Obama okay..”
Madonna told fans
to vote for "the Black Muslim in the White House" who's
"fighting for gay rights."

“It turns out that there is no way to reliably compare
current global temperatures to historical data using NASA's database. It is a
scientific scandal. I wrote recently about NASA changing its entire temperature
record database, just from July to September. That is, in 2012, NASA changed
temperatures going back to 1880. And it did that without telling anyone or
explaining it. The net effect was to make the 130-year warming trend steeper,
by lowering older (pre-1963) temperatures and slightly raising recent ones… It
is what all claims of global warming are based on.
It costs $60,000 to $75,000 to build a Chevy Volt, including
development, manufacturing and raw materials.
Government Motors is now discounting the price from $40,000 to $30,000
to move the inventory.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday disregarded
a U.N. warning to avoid incendiary rhetoric and declared ahead of the annual

Mich. are holding a rally this
Friday night to build momentum for the passage of laws that prohibit speech or
expression that hurts "the religious feelings of Muslims."
President Obama declared at the UN: 'The future must not
belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.'
While Christian churches are being destroyed on a near daily
basis in Muslim countries throughout the world, the Obama administration is
investing millions of dollars to rebuild overseas Islamic mosques and minarets.

Rasmussen keeps a running monthly poll of party identification.
In the latest poll, they found 37.6% of Americans considered themselves
Republicans. That’s up from 34.9% in July and 35.4% in June. It’s also the
largest number of Republicans ever recorded by Rasmussen Report since monthly
tracking began in November 2002. There is a new website, called unskewedpolls.com,
that basically reweights the data to fit the Rasmussen party identification.
Their results give Romney somewhere between a five and eleven point lead.
Now, this should also be taken with a grain of salt. Basically, they claim (by
the site name) to be an unskewed poll. In fact, they’re just a differently
skewed take on existing polls.
“Certain media polls indicating Obama is ahead of Mitt
Romney by as much as 10 to 12 points in swing states seem to spell disaster for
Romney, but what they really say about the Obama campaign may just surprise
you? The absurdity of the skewed sample models in those polls is one thing, but
what conservatives need to understand is that polls skewed to heavily favor
Democrats logically point to one very important fact - Obama is in big
trouble…”
If you're going to believe the polls released from CBS/New
York Times this morning…you have to believe that the turnout advantage for
Democrats over Republicans will blow away every previous record and common
sense.
Voter assistance programs for the military – specifically
targeted for improvement with $75 million after low military turnout in 2008 –
have been left to languish by the Obama administration and the result may be
depressed military turnout. Again.
The media insist that Mitt Romney is running a bad campaign.
Whether that’s true or not, one thing is certain: Barack Obama’s campaign is
undoubtedly worse. From day one, Obama’s re-election effort has been a
microcosm of his failures in office. Here is a list of the top ten Obama
campaign disasters--and there are still six weeks to go!
Wednesday morning, in a small conference room in its Washington, D.C.
office, NARAL Pro-Choice America rolled out a plan to clinch the election for
President Obama. That’s an ambitious goal for an organization pushing a niche
issue in a contest dominated by the economy, but they’re hoping to win big by
thinking small. Their plan is to target what they’ve termed “Obama
Defectors”—pro-choice women who supported Obama in 2008, but are now poised to
vote for Mitt Romney—and win them back. Nationally, they've identified 5.1 million
across the country, 1.2 million of whom live in swing states.
The Obama campaign produced a poster of an American flag,
with Obama’s “O” symbol replacing the field of stars, as an item of campaign
merchandise, selling for $35. The image was tasteless at best. It is hard to
imagine any other politician arrogant enough to remake the flag in his own
image: Barack Obama, however, has never been one to be deterred by bad taste.
The larger problem was that, as many pointed out, the flag bore an uncanny
resemblance to this grisly photograph taken at the American consulate in Benghazi: So the Obama
campaign has quietly ditched
